Twelfth Post: A Small Update

I am back! Senior year is approaching. I will write more daily journal on this blog (only if I have time). Comparing freshman year with senior year will be interesting! I grew more mature mentally. I understand more about life, such as friendship and relationship.

I hope senior year is as fun as freshman year. Even more, I want senior year to be more intriguing than freshman year! Omg, I think the above sentences are too wordy..

Saturday 7/30: I went to the CodeNow workshop at Visa's headquarters at Foster City. That place is magnificently beautiful! The scenery is epic. I also met friends and a good mentor in the workshop. Puneet is a good teacher; he went above and beyond in his lectures. I learned some new techniques in coding, such as the camelCase.

I am so glad I went to the workshop because I met really awesome people.

First, Alim is awesome. He creates diss tracks. Nice stuff! We ate together during lunch time. He was hilarious! I am glad I met him, but he did not come on the last workshop, which is on 7/30 >.<. I had a tiny crush on him. However, he is too young! Only going to sophomore year... I don't like to date people younger than me....

Second, Mohit is considered my all-time friend at the workshop. We were kind of shy in the beginning; we both did not initiate talking with each other until Alim, his bestie, talked to me. He is going to Cal Poly. His fashion sense is daebak. Clean, professional outfits impressed me. He sure is a fashionisto. He is also so tall and calm, just like a prince ^_^. Haha. Also, he is such a gentleman. He let me get on and off the bus first. Since Alim did not come the last day, we hung out during lunch time and breaks. We rode BART together in the end. It was very nice to know him. In the end, I developed a crush on him. I guess? Like a small one?

Third, Veronica is smart. She is also an avid Pokemon Go player. She plays Pokemon Go during breaks. She is a good speaker and a good coder. I wish I talked to her more.

Last, Zaynah is generous. She went to Lowell, and gradated this year, heading to CCSF. She also joined GWC the year I joined. We actually kind of knew each other before the workshop. I like her spirit. She is a kind person. I like talking to her. I hope we can talk more.

The last day of the workshop was fun because I GOT SOME FREEBIES! Visa was generous to give us backpacks with battery chargers, caps, pens with styluses, DVDs, water bottles, and notebooks. This workshop really helped me in both coding and networking.

Thank you, CodeNow! :)

Alright, for now, let's lay back and chill out. Stay positive and confident!
